ORGANIC'S ANYONE ?

ORGANIC FARM CERTIFICATION Going organic is easy, and truly the way of the future here at GFSN. Here are the basics to help you to understand how it works and what you must do to participate in the popular program.

First, you must decide which fields you would like to place into the organic farm program. You can opt to have all of your fields designated as organic, or you can simply elect to register a single field out of many that you own as being organic.

Only crops that are produced on ORGANIC titled land will receive the official "ORGANIC" crop designation needed to be able to sell it to a designated "ORGANIC" factory in the marketplace.
Please note that organic crops can also be sold to a standard factory (non-organic designated factory) as a substitution for a non-organic crop, but seller will only be paid normal, non-organic prices for the crop.

The certification apply's ONLY TO SPECIFIC FIELDS OFFICIALLY TITLED AND REGISTERED AS ORGANIC and said player agrees to NOT use any chemical fertilizer's or herbicide on this lot in exchange for the organic designation.

The player also agrees to silo the organic crop or products separately from non-organic crops and products in storage that is DEDICATED to storing organic goods ONLY until it is either sold or consumed.

☠ Important note: It is a violation of our terms and conditions to mix organic with non-organic crops or products in a privately owned farm silo prior to sale and tokenization.

Once sold, the product has an organic token and can be freely traded amongst other players and organic factorys in the system.

⚠ Note: crops from greenhouses do not qualify as organic due to the use of herbicide by default

The land title zoning change to organic certification for each field will cost 40K and last for (180 days RL) before needing to be re-certified again by an organic inspector.

Players may also apply this ORGANIC DESIGNATION to any Leased or owned factories that produce organic products provided they are sourced from organic farms or other organic certified factorys.

In order to certifiy a factory as organic, it must be 100% empty and you must pay a 50K certification fee for each factory certified as being organic. Once certified as organic, your factory will no longer be able to accept non organic crop or products and will be exclusively dedicated to ORGANIC PRODUCTION ONLY.

The organic factory designation is good for 180 days RL.

Buying and selling organic goods
Players can freely buy and sell organic products and crops as they are all internally tagged as being organic once sold by a certified organic producer/originator. Products and crops retain their ORGANIC status and their increased value, and can be bought, sold and traded amongst players and factories just like any other item in GFSN.
